Marble
Metamorphic rock resulting from the metamorphism of limestone, composed mostly of calcite (rarely dolomite). Due to various mineral impurities, it veins at many colors from white, through pink, green, red to black. With a view to a beautiful "picture", it became an appreciated decoration material. It is also used as a finishing material in a single-family buildings, for example as windowsills, stairs, floors, fireplaces etc.
